The medical instrument is provided with: a first grasping member and a second grasping member that approach and separate from each other; a rotating body, which is rotatably installed on a rotation shaft that is fixed with respect to the first grasping member; an open-close link, the first end of which is connected to a first revolution shaft so that the link is capable of revolving around said shaft, which is provided on the second grasping member, and the second end of which is connected to a second revolution shaft so that the link is capable of revolving around said shaft, which is provided on the rotating body at a distance from the rotation shaft; and an operating member for rotating the rotating body. When the rotating body is rotated in a prescribed direction, the first grasping member and the second grasping member approach each other as the second revolution shaft approaches an imaginary line connecting the rotation shaft and the axis line of the first revolution shaft. |
