The present invention relates to a separation method. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for selectively separating calcium and magnesium from a solution containing calcium and magnesium, capable of selectively separating calcium and magnesium from a solution in which calcium ions and magnesium ions coexist, to calcium oxalate and magnesium oxalate obtained by the separation method, and to calcium oxide and magnesium oxide obtained from said oxalates.
