PURPOSE: An advertisement providing system based on a floating population and a method thereof are provided to keep track of floating populations in a place where a digital information display is located, and provide an advertisement according to the floating populations, thereby allowing an advertiser to selectively purchase an advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A digital information display device which is installed at least a specific place collects and transmits data of floating population in the specific place(S41). The digital information display device performs an analysis of the data of floating population after receiving the data of floating population(S42). An operation information of an advertisement including the analyzed data of floating population are provided through a webpage(S43). After understanding the operation information of an advertisement, the advertiser requests an advertisement in accordance with the operation information(S44). An advertisement in accordance with the operation information are produced and provided through the digital information display device(S45).
