<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary electric machine integral with a power supply unit, which reduces the effects of back flow without extending the axial length to improve cooling performance. <P>SOLUTION: In a rotary electric machine integral with a power supply unit, a power circuit 13 which conducts a stator current to a stator winding 3b is mounted on the rear outside of a rear bracket 2 of a rotary electric machine 100, the power circuit 13 being provided with a switching element 14 to switch the stator current and a heat sink 18 to cool the switching element 14, and a cooling air W produced by a cooling fan 8 attached to a shaft 4 of the rotary electric machine 100 flows in through a space between the power circuit 13 and the rear bracket 2 and is discharged via the inner periphery of the rear bracket 2 from an exhaust hole 23 formed on the outer periphery of the rear bracket 2. The rotary electric machine integral with a power supply unit includes between the rear bracket 2 and the power circuit 13 a cooling air back flow prevention member 20 which prevents the cooling air W discharged from the exhaust hole 23 from flowing back into the space between the power circuit 13 and the rear bracket 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
