<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple light-emitting device and light-emitting system that make various designs and information visible easily, even if there is not sufficient external light or the external light is too intensive. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device has a plurality of surface light-emitting panels emitting light of uniform color as a whole and capable of changing the luminous color, and includes an emission control unit for controlling formation of a light emission pattern by emitting light while combining the surface light-emitting panels.
