<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flux leakage from permanent magnets. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor core has a plurality of magnet holes and cavity portions. The magnet holes are formed to be arranged in the circumference direction, and permanent magnets are inserted into the magnet holes.
