<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone coating composition, which has excellent storage stability of coating liquid, and can form a coating film, particularly a laminate film, the film having high hardness, excellent scratch resistance, good adhesiveness and high toughness, and never causing cracks even when subjected to a sudden temperature change. <P>SOLUTION: The silicone coating composition forms a silicone hard coat film directly on a surface of a silicone resin film which is formed by curing a silicone resin composition including a basic catalyst and a curable silicone having an alkoxysilyl group and/or silanol group. The composition includes: (i) a co-(partial) hydrolyzate or co-(partial) hydrolytic condensate of a hydrolyzable silicon compound and silicon dioxide fine particles; (ii) a curing catalyst higher in curing activity than the basic catalyst of the silicone resin composition; and (iii) an organic solvent. According to this, a heat-curable silicone coating composition which satisfies both wear resistance and adhesiveness in a balanced manner, and has excellent storage stability of the coating film can be obtained.
