<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device in which lighting failure is prevented when an organic EL layer is formed by an evaporation method, and provide a manufacturing method for the organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL display device comprises a plurality of organic EL elements each having a substrate 1, a first electrode 2 disposed on the substrate 1, an organic EL layer 5 formed on the first electrode 2, and a second electrode 6 formed on the organic EL layer 5. At least one layer included in the organic EL layer 5 is formed by an evaporation method. A manufacturing method for the organic EL display device includes the steps of, prior to the step of forming the organic EL layer 5, (1) forming a layer 4 including a space-filling material, which is not a conductor, on the first electrode 2 and (2) exposing the first electrode 2 by etching the layer 4 including the space-filling material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
