摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance space factors of field conductors by increasing areas of the field conductors in an axial cross section of a rotor core and to reduce field copper loss by increasing a total cross-sectional area of the field conductors. <P>SOLUTION: Depths from opening ends of rotor slots 2 closest to a magnetic pole 6 side of a rotor core 1 to bottoms of sub-slots 5 provided at bottoms of the rotor slots 2 or bottom sides of the rotor slots 2 as ventilation passages of a cooling medium are made shallower than slot depths of a second slot and subsequent slots counting from the magnetic pole 6 side in a circumferential direction. When a shortest distance between the rotor slots 2 or bottom portions of the sub-slots 5 facing with each other with a magnetic pole portion interposed therebetween is defined as a magnetic pole width of the slot portion, a magnetic pole width Wp1 of a slot portion closest to the magnetic pole 6 side is set to be not less than 85% of a magnetic pole width Wp2 of a second slot portion counting from the magnetic pole 6 side in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
