<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AD converter circuit and an imaging apparatus capable of improving the resolution of digital data obtained by AD conversion, without regard to the frequency of a count clock. <P>SOLUTION: A latch unit 108 allows clock signals from a clock generator 18 to pass therethrough during comparison processing is performed by a comparator 109 and latches the clock signals with the timing of the completion of the comparison processing.
