An adaptor for a fork lift truck having a lifting mast 10 and carriage 15 comprises a flat frame, made of cross-members 61 and 62 connected by vertical end-plates 63, 64. The frame can be hung on the front of the lifting carriage 15 by means of hooks 65 and a bumper bar 68. The adaptor can thus slide transversely on the carriage under the action of an hydraulic unit 75. Tines 52 are mounted on the adaptor by hooks 53, and can be mounted on the carriage 15 when the adaptor is not used. Retainers 69, 54 are provided for the bumper bar and the tines respectively. |
