METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GENERATING SIMULATOR

Disclosed are a method and device for generating a simulator. The present invention relates to the field of simulators, and is used for achieving fast portability and high efficiency of simulators. A method for generating a simulator comprises: obtaining an instruction set configuration file; generating a decoding table and a decoding algorithm according to the instruction set configuration file, with the decoding table including an instruction code table, an instruction describing table and a bit field table; wherein recorded in the instruction code table are assembly instruction operation codes, recorded in the instruction describing table is detailed information about each assembly instruction operation code, and recorded in the bit field table are methods to calculate the value of the bit field of each operand; and generating a simulator according to the decoding table, the decoding algorithm and a module code, with the module code being a code for simulating an action of an assembly instruction and a code which is not a decoding algorithm during decoding. The solution of the present invention is suitable for the generation of simulators.
