A back frame (23) for a flat-panel display device (20) and a backlight system (21). The back frame (23) comprises at least two assembly components (61, 62). The at least two assembly components (61, 62) assemble together to form the back frame (23). The back frame (23) further comprises a bracket (60) that both fixes in place and is fixed in place by the assembly components (61, 62). The assembly components (61, 62) can be fixed to the bracket (60) in at least two different positions along the length thereof. Using assembly components (61, 62) that assemble together to form a back frame (23) allows for a structurally simple mold for the back frame (23), which reduces the cost thereof and economizes on materials for the back frame (23), thereby reducing manufacturing costs. Because the positions in which the support bracket (60) and the assembly components (61, 62) are fixed are such that adjustments can be made along the length of the support bracket (60), a same support bracket (60) can satisfy various installation requirements, thereby further reducing production costs.
