<p>Achieved is a computer system that detects faults more rapidly than a heartbeat. The computer system results from a plurality of computers being connected via a connection established on a network, wherein the plurality of computers include a computer that executes a task using a database configured from a recording region that each computer has, and the computer system has: a connection management unit that monitors the connection state of the connection between the plurality of computers, and detects the occurrence of a fault of the plurality of computers configuring the database by detecting connection abnormalities; and a management range management unit that manages the management range of data disposed decentralized across the plurality of computers configuring the database, and updates the management range when a fault has occurred of the plurality of computers configuring the database.</p> |
