PURPOSE: A system and a method for distribution and collection of a rent car and a recording medium for the same are provided to allow a customer to reserve a rent car through the Internet or a mobile device, and distribute or collect the rent car to or from the customer under a reserved date and place condition. CONSTITUTION: A system(300) for distribution and collection of a rent car is connected to a user terminal(100), a driver terminal(400), a rent car base system(200), and a garage terminal(500) through a communication network(10). The rent car base system is a common management system or server that a rent car service company operates. The driver terminal is a terminal of a driver in charge of distributing and collecting rent cars, who is registered in the rent car base system. The garage terminal being interlocked with the rent car base system manages a current status of stocking or releasing cars in a garage. The system for distribution and collection of a rent car includes functions of transmitting reservation guide information to the user terminal based on a a reservation request of a user and selecting a car to be distributed to the user after receiving reservation confirm information from the user terminal.
