The injector has a multipart injector housing whose nozzle body (1) is axially clamped by a nozzle clamping nut (2) against a support body (3). A plate-like component i.e. throttle plate (4), is arranged between the nozzle and support bodies. The component comprises a hole (5) for connecting a high-pressure chamber (6) with a fuel supply (7) of the nozzle body. The nozzle body comprises a partial circle-shaped recess (9) at an end surface (8), where the recess partially extends to a diameter (D) of the high-pressure chamber for connecting the high-pressure chamber with the component hole.
