PURPOSE: A location information classification method and a device therefor are provided to filter the GPS(Global Positioning System) location data including the errors. CONSTITUTION: A location information acquisition module acquires the location information of a user device. A processing unit(32) inputs a discrimination function generated from the acquired location information. The discrimination function outputs a first value and a second value. The processing unit classifies the location information as a first group when the output value of the discrimination function includes the first value. The processing unit classifies the location information as a second group when the output value of the discrimination function includes the second value.
