<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin film having a low photoelastic coefficient and large birefringence. <P>SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin transparent film includes: a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound expressed by general formula (1); a structural unit derived from isosorbide; and a structural unit derived from one or more dihydroxy compounds selected from the group consisting of a dihydroxy compound having a hydroxy group directly bonding to a cycloalkylene group, a dihydroxy compound having a hydroxy group not directly bonding to a cycloalkylene group, a dihydroxy compound having a polyether bond, and an aliphatic dihydroxy compound.
