<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in communication load and increase in the used area of a nonvolatile memory when each node sends an identification response message containing a vehicle identification code back to an external apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Among plural nodes, DoIP edge nodes 14 and 24 which communicate directly with a diagnostic apparatus 30 as the external apparatus store a vehicle identification code VIN. Then, also in the case of sending a vehicle identification response message in response to a vehicle identification request message to each of the other nodes 16, 18 and 26, the vehicle identification code VIN stored in the DoIP edge nodes 14 and 24 is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
