ABNORMALITY AND DETERIORATION DIAGNOSTIC METHOD AND DEVICE FOR BRAKE DEVICE IN GATE LIFTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an abnormality and deterioration diagnosis of a brake device in a gate lifting device to be achieved in a simpler configuration.

SOLUTION: It is diagnosed whether or not a brake device 2b in a gate lifting device 2 of a wire rope type sluice gate which opens and closes a water way c by lifting and lowering a gate 1 by winding and rewinding a wire rope 2e is in an abnormal or deteriorated state. A gate opening is detected by an opening meter 3 connected to an output shaft 2cb of a reduction gear 2c at the moment when lifting of the gate 1 is stopped and at the moment when lifting of the gate 1 is resumed. Detected signals are outputted from an opening transmitter 5 and the difference between both signals is calculated by an opening difference calculator 7a. An abnormality and deterioration determination part 7b compares the calculated difference between both signals with a threshold value set in advance, and determines that the brake device is in an abnormal or deteriorated state and outputs a signal if the difference exceeds the threshold value. Thus, the diagnosis can be more simply and directly performed and a highly reliable diagnosis can be achieved.
