<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device for a sphere inspection capable of changing a rolling amount depending on a sphere diameter and preventing a defect of a sphere from being overlooked. <P>SOLUTION: A rolling device for a sphere inspection comprises: a movable stage 12 where a plurality of spheres 55 are placed thereon; an arrangement member 30 which arranges the plurality of spheres 55 in plural vertical and horizontal rows and is immovable in a horizontal plane; a first drive device 20 which moves the movable stage 12 in one of two directions orthogonal to each other in the horizontal plane; a second drive device 40 which moves the movable stage 12 in the other of the two directions orthogonal to each other in the horizontal plane; a control device 51 which controls the first drive device 20 and the second drive device 40 to give the spheres 55 vertical rolls and horizontal rolls by moving the movable stage 12; and an input output device 52 to input a sphere diameter into the control device 51.
