A communication system (1) in which the cells of multiple base station devices (100-j) are arranged such that all of or a portion of the cells overlap, wherein a master base station device (100-1) calculates the transmission weight coefficients (Vj) of each base station device (100-j) and the reception weight coefficients (Uk) of mobile station devices (200-k) such that the direction of the equivalent propagation path of the interference signal received by the mobile station devices (200-k) connected to the respective base station device (100-j) intersects the reception weight coefficient that is multiplied with a reception signal by means of the mobile station devices (200-k). Each base station device (100-j) transmits the reception weight coefficient (Uk) to the respective mobile station device (200-k) connected thereto, and each mobile station device (200-k) performs a reception process by multiplying the reception signal containing the interference signal with the reception weight coefficient (Uk).
