<p>Provided is a cutting tool equipped with a clamping mechanism with which a cutting insert can be easily attached or detached even in a narrow space and dropping of the member that fixes the cutting insert to the cutting tool during said attachment or detachment work can be prevented. The cutting tool is provided with: a lever (6) for fixing the cutting insert (2); a pin (5) that can move to a first position in which the pin presses the lever (6) and fixes the cutting insert (2), a second position in which the pin engages with but does not press the lever (6), and a third position in which the pin is withdrawn from the lever (6); and a rotating member (4) that has an engaging part (41), which engages with the pin (5) and is capable of setting the pin (5) selectively at various positions according to the rotation thereof. When attaching or detaching the cutting insert (2), the pin (5) is set in the second position.</p> |
