METHOD FOR PRODUCING BAGGED DRY VEGETABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enclose more frozen dry vegetables than the prior art regarding bagged frozen dry vegetables.

SOLUTION: Vegetables are boiled, and wet vegetables in a high water content state before dried are filled beforehand in a bag of soft wrapping material made of plastic. Freeze drying is performed in the open state of the bag, and then the bag is sealed. A saccharide is mixed after boiling to attain the enclosure of a large amount of dry vegetables. This method is applicable to various vegetables, particularly effective when producing frozen dry vegetables of long and narrow or thin film shape and suitably usable for vegetables easy to break when dried.
