<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic film-catalyst layer assembly with a reinforcement sheet which is arranged so that the tear of the electrolytic film-catalyst layer assembly can be suppressed, and the gas leak of a fuel gas such as hydrogen can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolytic film-catalyst layer assembly with a reinforcement sheet has a solid polymer electrolytic film and a catalyst layer. (1) The catalyst layer is placed on both sides of the solid polymer electrolytic film except outer peripheral edge portions thereof. (2) The frame-like reinforcement sheet having an opening in its center is set on the outer peripheral edge portion on each side of the solid polymer electrolytic film. (3) The reinforcement sheet is composed of (i) a first polyolefin-based resin layer, and (ii) at least one sheet selected from the group consisting of a fibrous sheet and a porous sheet.
