METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXECUTING READING OF E-BOOK ON ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH TOUCH SCREEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable various and easy page transition in executing reading of an e-book on an electronic device with a touch gesture.

SOLUTION: The reading executing device includes: a touch screen for generating a touch event in response to the touch gesture; a storage unit including an LUT for discriminating whether or not the touch gesture is for turning over pages; a control unit for discriminating whether or not the touch gesture is for turning over pages by referring to the LUT when the touch gesture is sensed while displaying the first page of the e-book, and determining a second page to be moved to according to the touch gesture if the touch gesture is for turning over pages; and a display unit for displaying the second page under the control of the control unit.
