PURPOSE: An automatic control device for the opening of a door glass is provided to improve user convenience by automatically and optimally controlling the opening of a door through a simple operation of a door switch. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control device for the opening of a door glass comprises a plural object(10), a proximity sensor(20), a mode selecting switch, and a controller(40). The plural object is combined in one side of a door glass(6) in order to maintain a different gap from a door inner panel(1). The proximity sensor senses a distance from a door glass and the plural object along the vertical movement of the door glass. The mode selecting switch comprises a general mode for manually controlling the opening of the door glass and an automatic mode for automatically controlling the opening. The controller controls the operation of a door regulator(2) using a signal delivered from the proximity sensor and the operation signal of the door switch and mode selecting switch.
