摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of an identification work by, before executing MS<SP POS="POST">2</SP>analysis with a certain MS<SP POS="POST">1</SP>peak as precursor ion, quantitatively estimating the probability of substance identification using the MS<SP POS="POST">2</SP>analysis result. <P>SOLUTION: An identification probability estimation model structuring section 32 performs the MS<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and MS<SP POS="POST">2</SP>analyses of a plurality of fractionated samples obtained from a known sample, grasps the m/z and SN ratio of an MS<SP POS="POST">1</SP>peak with high probability of identification success from the result of identification (success/failure), obtains a parameter for ranking the MS<SP POS="POST">1</SP>peaks and a parameter showing an identification probability estimation model showing a relation between the cumulative number of analysis and the number of identification success in the case of performing the MS<SP POS="POST">2</SP>analysis and identification according to the rank, and stores the parameters in a storage section 33. In the case of substance identification in a target sample, an approximation rank is obtained by using the MS<SP POS="POST">1</SP>peak ranking parameter about the MS<SP POS="POST">1</SP>peak obtained by analysis, and an identification probability estimation value is obtained from the approximation rank by referring to the identification probability estimation model.
