<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device capable of charging a battery having an intermediate tap in the proper amount, without adding a new device like a voltage detector. <P>SOLUTION: A charging device 1 charging a battery 3 capable of outputting a full voltage and an intermediate voltage, includes: an output circuit 4 that outputs a DC voltage to the battery 3; and a control circuit 5 that controls the output state of output circuit 4 into on-state or off-state. The control circuit 5 includes: full voltage detecting means 10; first charging time measuring means 11 that measures a first charging time taken from starting of the charging until a voltage value detected by the full voltage detecting means 10 reaches the setting voltage value ; and second charging time calculation means 12 that calculates a second charging time taken until the charging finishes after the voltage value reaches the setting voltage value. The setting voltage value is set to the voltage value of full voltage at the time when the intermediate voltage reaches a transition point, and the second charging time is calculated on the basis of charging characteristics showing the mutual relationship between the voltage value of full voltage and the charging time and the first charging time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
