<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with an upper structure body capable of taking opened/closed posture which effectively reads a document. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, when a document detection part 91 detects no document placed on a mounting part 51, a document is being conveyed by document conveyance parts 52, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58, closed posture is not detected by a posture detection part 67, and a document passing detection part 82 does not detect a rear end of the document in conveyance passing a reading position 413, conveyance of the document by the document conveyance parts 52, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58 is stopped. When the document passing detection part 82 detects the document in conveyance passing the reading position 413, conveyance of the document by the document conveyance parts 52, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58 is not stopped and the document in conveyance is discharged to a document discharge part 59. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
