<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a drop wire that can be easily connected to an electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 1 for a drop wire comprises; a clamp connection part 3 that includes a pair of conductive connector pieces 2a, 2b whose clearance can be adjusted by a bolt 20, and can be mounted to an anchor clamp 6 electrically conducted to an electric wire; and a drop wire holding part 5 holding the drop wire 4. At the clamp connection part 3, a clamp holding recess 11 that can house a predetermined portion (support member 63) of the anchor clamp 6 therein and whose clearance can be adjusted by the bolt 20 is formed on the pair of connector pieces 2a, 2b.
