<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut data creating apparatus, a cut data creating program and a sewing machine, which create cut data for surely forming a gap having a specified pattern in a processing fabric. <P>SOLUTION: The sewing machine comprises a plurality of cut needles different in extending directions of those tips from each other. The sewing machine acquires a pattern 101 of the gap to be formed in the processing fabric from a user. The sewing machine acquires extending directions 116 and 117 of fibers forming a processing fabric 39. The sewing machine sets a needle dropping point P(i) on the pattern 101 of the gap, and then specifies the cut needle to be pierced to the needle dropping point P(i) out of the plurality of the cut needles on the basis of a direction of the gap. When a relationship between the extending direction of the tip of the specified cut needle and the extending directions 116 and 117 of the fibers does not meet a predetermined relationship, the sewing machine replaces the cut needle with another cut needle meeting the predetermined relationship. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
