Disclosed are a method and device for sending a data block, which belongs to the field of communications. The method comprises: taking out a data block from a buffer area, and sending the data block to the network side according to scheduling information when sending a TTI of the data block in HARQ RTT if the data block is not the last data block required to be sent; resending the data block to the network side according to the scheduling information when sending the TTI of the data block in the next HARQ RTT adjacent to the HARQ RTT if the data block is not successfully sent out; taking out the data block from the buffer area if the data block is successfully sent out, and sending the data block to the network side according to the scheduling information when sending the TTI of the data block in the next HARQ RTT adjacent to the HARQ RTT if the data block is not the last data block required to be sent. The device comprises a first sending module, a first retransmission module and a second sending module. The present invention can reduce waste of resources.
