An annular groove(14), in which a lower end (5b) of a boot (5) is fitted, is formed in an outer periphery of an open end of a housing (2) so as to extend in a circumferential direction of the housing (2). The annular groove (14) is defined by a cylindrical face (17), an upper inner wall (18), and a lower inner wall (19). By fitting a clip (13) onto a cylindrical portion (21) of the lower end (5b) of the boot (5), the cylindrical portion (21) is pushed against the cylindrical face (17), and an inner end portion (20) and a folded-back portion (22) are pushed against the upper inner wall (18)and the lower inner wall (19), respectively. The inner end portion (20) has an annular protrusion (42) that is engaged with the upper inner wall (18) and elastically contracted when the lower end (5b) of the boot (5) is fitted in the annular groove (14). |
