HYBRID-TOUCH TYPE REMOTE CONTROLLER DEVICE FOR SMART TERMINALS, AND MODE CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A remote controller of a hybrid touch input type for a smart terminal and a mode control method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently use a touch pad function which is optimized at the pointer movement of a large screen display. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor unit(152) senses the directivity of a motion for the remote controller device of a user. A control unit(130) receives a mouse mode conversion signal from a mode conversion switch according to the control for the mode conversion switch. The control unit controls an UI(User Interface) screen of a smart terminal using the optical sensor unit and a mouse wheel or a button unit. The control unit receives a touch pad mode conversion signal from the mode conversion switch. The control unit controls the UI screen of the smart terminal by using the touch pad.
