THE HEIGHT CONTROL DEVICE OF A VARIABLE PILLOW FOR BED MATTRESS

PURPOSE: A height control device of a variable pillow for a bed mattress is provided to adjust the height of a pillow which is embedded in the bed mattress to a suitable height for a user, thereby enabling the pillow to support the neck and shoulders and allowing the user to user the pillow without shoulder pain. CONSTITUTION: A height control device of a variable pillow for a bed mattress comprises a main body(18) which has a box shape with an opening top; a fixing plate(10) which partitions the space within the main body and has an outlet hole on either side such that a part of a pinion gear is drawn out and rotates with a second rack gear; a rotating shaft(22) which has horizontally installed in the front of the fixing plate and has a pinion gear coupled at a place corresponding to each of the outlet holes and a bearing fastened at the both ends protruding to the outer circumference of the main body; a bottom connection hole with an open top which stands perpendicularly; a terraced height controlling unit(11) which includes a height controlling block formed at a side end and rotates back and forth; a fourth rack gear(19c) which is attached to the front of the main body for corresponding to the pinion gear; a shoulder support unit which ascends or descends for supporting the shoulders which are put thereon; a pillow support unit(2) which ascends or descends when a pillow is mounted at the back side of the rotating shaft on the main body.
