PURPOSE: A control IC with an auto recovery circuit, the auto recovery circuit thereof, a power converter system, and a method for automatically recovering the control IC are provided to automatically recover the malfunction of a protection mode due to noises. CONSTITUTION: An abnormality detecting unit(110) detects the abnormality of a system or a control IC. A protection unit(120) changes an operation mode into a protection mode according to the detection of the abnormality and changes the protection mode into the operation mode by receiving an auto recovery signal. An IC power source(130) repeatedly supplies or blocks power from an input power source. An auto restart unit(140) counts a clock in which a power supply signal and a supply block signal are alternatively repeated, and supplies the auto recovery signal to the protection unit if the count value reaches a preset value.
