<p>An assembly of gears comprising cylindrical or globoid-toroidal worm screw 3 and a worm wheel 1 having radial equally spaced openings into which a portion of a Y shaped frame 2 is installed and held by screw 16 so that the frame 2 may rotate and provide a kinematic rotating linkage between the frame 2 and worm wheel 1. A plurality of single or double stud cam rollers 4 are mounted on two extremities of the frame 2 and have a rotating outer ring profile with a conical or a cylindrical, or with a convex circular arc, or with bipartite generatrices providing two distinct angles of inclinations. The frames are held in a position transversal to a plane of the wheel 1 by, for example, springs 15 or elastic bands etc. Reference is also made to a method to manufacture the worm wheel drive and to a method for manufacturing of stud cam rollers.</p> |
