<p>A surgical closure device for coupling with a trocar or other instrument is disclosed. It comprises a leading edge 105, trailing edge 110 and a trocar mating surface 115 located between the leading edge 105 and trailing edge 110. In particular, the trocar mating surface 115 engages the outer surface of the trocar or other instrument. It also comprises a needle guide channel 130 comprising an entry port 131 for receiving a suture delivery device, and an exit port 132 from which the suture delivery device exits the device. Further embodiments are disclosed comprising a handle 120, an arcute mating surface 110 and a plurality of needle guide channels 130.</p> |
