The present application relates to a medical device comprising a catheter; a balloon mounted on the catheter; a sheath disposed around the balloon, wherein the sheath comprises nanofibers; and the therapeutic agent is retained on the medical device by the sheath. The agent may be contained between the sheath and the balloon or dispersed in the space between the nanofibres.
