PURPOSE: A virtual fitting method using a smartphone and a system thereof are provided to allow a user to virtually wear or try on clothes or fashion accessories that the user possess or wants to buy by selecting images of clothes and models, in real time basis. CONSTITUTION: A virtual fitting method using a smartphone comprises the steps of: connecting to a virtual fitting management server(200) using a smartphone(100); photographing products and models that a user wants and concurrently registering and correcting the photographed images in a state of connecting to the virtual fitting management server; generating a virtual fitting image by combining the product image and model image which are registered in the virtual fitting management server, through correction of the images if necessary; and saving the virtual fitting image.
