A tank to contain fuel includes a containing body (11) made of plastic material. At least on one external (13) or internal (12) surface of the containing body (11) there is a layer of metal filling material (15), constrained to the plastic material by molecular bindings and able to annul the permeation of the fuel through the containing body (11).
