PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to reduce the thickness of the backlight unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device by omitting a bottom cover. CONSTITUTION: An optical sheet(14) is arranged on a light guide plate(13). One or more reflection sheets(12) are arranged on a lower part of the light guide plate. A frame of a frame unit(11) accommodates the light guide plate and the reflection sheet. A plurality of light source units(1) of the frame unit is mounted on the frame. The light source unit is located in the cavity of the frame unit. An electrode pattern of the frame unit supplies power to the power source unit. |
