摘要 <p>A computerized simulation (104) of prototype (106) of component is carried out using specification of characteristic values for mechanical load (108), to determine required local hardness (102) of component. The weak points are identified by the fact that the first tolerance limit (120) of local hardness is exceeded. The optimized prototype is further optimized, to avoid structural changes, by adapting the required local hardness and/or the geometrical shape of prototype. The steps are repeated again until all the structural changes are within predefined second tolerance limit. A computerized simulation of a prototype of the casting component is carried out using the specification of characteristic values for a mechanical load, to determine the required local hardness of the casting component. The virtual stress analysis (110) of the simulated prototype for the casting component is carried out for determining a simulated local hardness (112) of the component. The yield point (114) and tensile strength (116) of local points of the prototype are simulated. The simulated local hardness resulting from the yield point and/or the tensile strength is compared with the local hardness and the weakness (118) in the prototype is determined. The weak points are identified by the fact that the first tolerance limit of the local hardness is exceeded. The steps are repeated unless predefined thresholds are met. The prototype is optimized in terms of the local hardness. The local structural changes of the optimized prototype are calculated after the action of mechanical load. The calculation of simulated local hardness is received, and the optimized prototype is further optimized in order to avoid structural changes by adapting the required local hardness and/or the geometrical shape of the prototype. The steps are repeated again until all the structural changes are within predefined second tolerance limits. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program product for optimization of casting component having a heterogeneous microstructure; and (2) a computer system for optimization of casting component having a heterogeneous microstructure.</p>
