PURPOSE: A synchronization device including an automatic power blocking function and a power blocking method thereof are provided to include an automatic power blocking function when wireless connection is disconnected with a source device. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(130) receives an image by wirelessly performing communication with a source device. When the communication with a source device is terminated, a control unit(120) blocks power supply. A power supply unit(140) blocks or supplies power according to a control unit. An input and output unit(110) displays an image received from the wireless communication unit. The control unit includes a timer. When the communication with the source device is terminated, the timer counts the set time.
