SAFETY SYSTEM OF CROSS ROAD WALK AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DATA THEREOF

PURPOSE: A walking safety system for a crosswalk and a method for transmitting and receiving data in the walking safety system for the crosswalk are provided to previously prevent a traffic accident in the crosswalk by generating an alarm when a pedestrian crosses the crosswalk. CONSTITUTION: A recording medium is installed in a crosswalk and includes the location information of the crosswalk. A pedestrian terminal(100') recognizes the recording medium. A signal managing server receives the location information of the recording medium recognized in the pedestrian terminal. A driver terminal periodically transmits the location information of a driver to the signal management sever and receives alarm information from the signal management server if the location information of the driver is matched with the location information of the crosswalk.
