PURPOSE: A device for setting the automatic access of a sensor node based on sensor information and a method thereof are provided to support an access automation function to a sensor node regardless of the performance of the sensor node by determining the kind of the sensor node based on the sensor information. CONSTITUTION: A sensor information reception unit(222) receives sensor information measured by one or more sensor nodes. A node kind determination unit(224) determines the kind of the sensor node based on the received sensor information. A sensor node setting unit(225) sets up the sensor node for automatic connection according to the determined kind of the sensor node. The node kind determination unit searches for the sensor analysis information of a format which is the same as the received sensor information. The node kind determination unit determines the kind of the sensor node according to the search result.
