METHODS FOR MANAGING POWER OF BASE STATION IN CELLULAR NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A base station power management method is provided to maximize power use efficiency of a base station by reducing complexity for managing base station power. CONSTITUTION: A center base station controller receives channel and interference information from each base station(S310). The center base station controller selects a terminal in each cell based on the received channel and interference information(S320). The center base station controller determines a power parameter considering interference between neighbor cells and the power restriction parameter of each base station(S330). The center base station controller selects a terminal in each cell by using the power parameter and the power restriction parameter(S340).
