PURPOSE: A composition containing a Hericium erinaceum extract for improving learning ability or memory is provided to enhance cell differentiation and neural cell survival, and to be used as health supplementary food. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving learning ability or memory contains 40-350mg/kg of a Hericium erinaceum extract as an active ingredient. The extract is an ethanol extract. Health functional food for improving learning ability or memory contains 40-350mg/kg of the extract as an active ingredient.
