PURPOSE: A drill pipe connection link and a drill pipe stand building method using the same are provided to shorten a time for a stand building work. CONSTITUTION: A drill pipe connection link comprises a pair of clamps(210,220), a pair of connecting rods(230,240), and a hinge(250). A pair of clamps detachably covers the outer circumference of a tool joint stepped part in a drill pipe. A pair of connecting rods is connected to both sides of each clamp. The hinge rotatably connects a pair of connecting rods.
